You’re Not Alone

IT’S not an accident that you’re SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH.

Did you know that you’re a very important person?  God thinks so.  In fact, He is probably trying to get your attention right now.  God works like that.  He is trying to wake you up to the true reality that most people cannot see or do not want to see.

Nobody wants to speak about sin anymore.  It’s just not politically correct. Most churches would not dare mention sin on their website but we love you and want the best for you.  God has no problem shooting straight with humanity regarding sin. That’s because He knows what the end will be for us if we do not repent and believe.  If it wasn’t a deadly serious issue His Son would not have been required to suffer and die on that Roman cross.

The Lord Jesus Christ who is the Son of Almighty God loved you so much that He sacrificed His life just so you could be reconciled to back to God.  None of us have been loved more than that and we never will be.  You may be thinking, “Why do I need to be reconciled to God?”   The answer is sin and sin has dire consequences.  It’s truly a matter of life and death.

Ok, I’ll admit it first but I hope you will soon join me, “I’m a sinner by birth and by practice.”

Sin is transgression, doing wrong, falling short, disobeying God’s words and commandments.  Have you ever lied, stole something, wished someone was dead or lusted after someone?  Let’s be honest.  We can’t even keep the first commandment perfectly?  You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”  Deuteronomy 6:5

The Word of God says: “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 6:23

Our sin has condemned us but there is way out of the mess we are in.

If someone offers you a gift it does not become yours until you accept it. It’s the same with God’s offer of eternal life.  True?

All it takes is genuine and honest faith in what God has said and done regarding His Son.  Doing good deeds, living an exemplary life or going to church every Sunday will not in any way absolve you from your sin dilemma.  We must listen to what God says we must do to be saved.

Galatians 2:16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

Please examine yourself and confess your sins to God.  Ask Him for mercy. He will hear you.  Tell Him that you believe that His Son died to pay the price for your sins.  Believe that Jesus is God and that He lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was buried and rose again on the third day proving that His sacrifice for you was acceptable to His Father in Heaven.

Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
